UGH MERMAIDS!

I love them so much... they are second to fairies!

but PEOPLE come on.

lets say this together:

"mermaids have fins"

good.

lets try this one:

"mermaids don't wear tshirts or other land dwelling person clothing"

good again.

Those are the 2 rules of mermaids.

mermaids should not look like you just finished shopping at urban outfitters found a fountain and said :

"Hey look at this fountain! Take a picture of me as a mermaid!"

no honey. your shredded jeans, checkered converses and black and white polo do NOT look mermaidy.neither do those bug lense sunglasses you are wearing as a headband!

My point... and I do have one but don't i always!

mermaids are mystical creatures from the sea. they don't have to be pretty but they are magical and have been living in the ocean. They make clothing out of seaweed and starfish.. not denim and cotton. Maybe the occasional shipwreck provides them with some sail canvas but thats about all. They don't have american eagle under the sea. Lets not even pretend thats a good idea for a photo shoot!

moral: don't take pictures on a big rock in an ariel pose... if you aren't dressed to make it somewhat believable. if you aren't then you are just an idiot sitting on a rock... who is crazy and thinks they are a mermaid. NOT COOL!

OH and laying naked on the floor in your house next to some seashells does not make you a mermaid... put you photo in STOCK not portraits! THANK YOU!
